Who We Are

Otherwise Solutions is a web development, design, SEO, analytics, and automation service provider based in Utah, United States. This policy applies to this website and to information submitted through it. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

Information You Give Us

We collect the information you choose to submit through the contact form or the project brief:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • phone number, if you provide it;
  • the service you are interested in;
  • anything you write about your project, business, or goals.

You decide how much to share. Please include only what is needed to evaluate your request.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, a small amount of technical data is processed automatically:

  • Server logs. Our hosting infrastructure records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We use these logs only for security and troubleshooting.
  • Self-hosted analytics. We measure page views, referral sources, and device types using privacy-focused analytics software that runs entirely on our own server. It uses no cookies, does not identify individual visitors, does not track you across other websites, and shares nothing with third parties.
  • Campaign tags. If you arrive through a link with campaign parameters (such as UTM tags), those tags are kept in your browser’s session storage for the duration of your visit and are cleared when you close the tab. If you then submit a form, the tags are attached to your inquiry so we know which campaign brought you.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies. We use no advertising, marketing, analytics, or social media cookies, and we do not load third-party trackers, ad networks, or cross-site tracking scripts of any kind.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • review and reply to your request;
  • prepare estimates, recommendations, and next steps for your project;
  • communicate with you during a project;
  • understand, in aggregate, which pages and campaigns perform;
  • protect the website and diagnose technical issues;
  • keep ordinary business records.

We do not sell personal information, do not share it for targeted advertising, and do not add you to mailing lists you did not ask for.

When We Share Information

Form submissions are delivered to our internal team workspace so we can review and respond. Beyond that, information is shared only with service providers that help us run the website — such as hosting and message delivery — and only to the extent needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by a valid legal request, or as part of a business transfer, in which case this policy would continue to apply. We never sell personal information or provide it to data brokers or advertising networks.

Retention

We keep contact requests for as long as needed to respond, manage project discussions, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and protect against fraud or abuse. If a request does not become an active project, we delete or archive it once it is no longer needed for those purposes. Analytics data is aggregate and is not tied to you personally.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, including under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act and similar U.S. state laws, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and receive a copy of data you provided. You also have the right to opt out of the sale of personal data and targeted advertising — we do neither.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] or use the contact form. We respond within 45 days and will never treat you differently for making a request. We may retain limited information where required for security, legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. Because this website does not track visitors across other sites or use tracking cookies, it behaves the same way for everyone — there is nothing to opt out of.

Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect submitted information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to inquiry data. No website or transmission method is perfectly secure, so please send only the information needed to evaluate your request.

Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for business inquiries and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

International Visitors

This website is operated from the United States, and information submitted through it is processed and stored in the United States. By using the website, you understand that your information will be handled as described in this policy.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes apply from the updated date forward unless a different notice is required by law.
